2021 is looking to be a great year at JPH! In anticipation of this great year, JPH is looking to hire for several open positions in multiple offices. Here is what JPH currently needs:

Research Technician – DFW (Hurst, Texas) and/or Central Texas – This is a new job opening for JPH with the potential for a lot of growth within. The Research Technician will fill a role on most every JPH project by initiating property research and digging into the details of the public records. The ideal candidate doesn’t need to have any land surveying experience, but would need to be good at using the internet to perform searches on public record websites. Use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe are also important. An general understanding of cites, counties, and maps would be helpful. JPH will train the right individual to use our proven processes to increase profitability of our projects. The right candidate will also have the opportunity to grow with JPH. There is the potential of helping with other tasks related to a land surveying company such as assisting with field work, making deliveries, or other work outside the office.

Experienced survey crew chief – (Houston, Texas)

JPH Land Surveying, Inc

JPH Land Surveying, Inc. is seeking an experienced survey crew chief to support our new Houston, Texas office.  This position involves working directly with the JPH team, and our clients, supporting ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, topographic surveys, tree surveys, and platting.  Experience with Trimble GPS, Trimble robotic total stations, Trimble Access, using field codes to establish linework, and working solo is preferred. Daily tasks will include traveling to, and from, job sites, locating field items related to boundary surveys, topographic surveys, land title surveys, and tree surveys, and resolving boundaries with the RPLS. Candidate must have a good driving record, background check, and drug screening prior to employment.

A candidate with a Remote Pilot’s License, or the ability to obtain one quickly, is also desired for this position.

Benefits include: health/dental/vision insurance package, paid time off, paid holidays, company matching 401(k), a four (4) day work week (Monday – Thursday), and limited travel. Some light travel is required with this position.
